Why are we called FLO2R?
The short answer: Because our founder is called FLOOR.
The long answer: Because he looked at his surname, saw the two O’s, and thought “that right there… that’s just screaming to be turned into oxygen.”
And when you run a gas analysis company where O₂ is often the most important component, there’s only one thing to do: You turn the surname into a chemical pun that makes every nerd nod in approval.
It’s nerdy – no doubt about it – and to make the confusion complete, it is of course pronounced FLOOR.
